Shaprece Renee has been recording since 2009 and has made it her mission to experiment with different sounds and textures to create her own sound. By combining her favorite genres along the way, Shaprece’s music has become an eclectic mixture of soul, jazz, electronic, and hiphop music.
A newcomer on the Seattle music scene, Shaprece has made a mark by performing and lending vocals to fellow artists such as Mad Rad, Fresh Espresso, SOTA, Gran Rapids, and Blue Sky Black Death. She's had the privilege of performing at the Paramount Theater, Neumos, Nectar Lounge, and at Seattle's Capitol Hill Block Party as Fresh Espresso's female vocalist.

Alicia Keys, Amy Winehouse, Bjork, The Black Keys, Bob Marley, Cee-Lo Green, Daft Punk, Envogue, Erykah Badu, Faith Evans, Fiona Apple, The Fugees, Gnarls Barkley, Gorillaz, Janet Jackson, Jill Scott, Jimi Hendrix, John Legend, Lauryn Hill, Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson, Pink Floyd, Prince, Sade, Stevie Wonder…Joshua Richardson(her father) and the many musicians that have graced the presence of her home throughout the years.
